Morio Alexander

Mr. Alexander is a Founder and Managing Partner at Lumina Group. Prior to Lumina Group, Mr. Alexander was a Partner at MMG Partners where he advised leading investment banks, buy-side institutions, exchanges, and software/technology firms in various areas including strategy, process reengineering, product development, and sourcing. He also previously worked at a multi-asset hedge fund and at a startup electronic platform for business-to-business transaction processing and dispute resolution. Mr. Alexander is also active in local entrepreneurship as mentor to, and Board advisor of, various startups and non-profit organizations. Mr. Alexander received his MBA from Harvard Business School and B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Craig Mahfood

Mr. Mahfood is a Founder and Managing Partner at Lumina Group.  Prior to Lumina Group, Mr. Mahfood spent the majority of his career as a management consultant with a particular focus on the securities and investments industry, most recently as a Partner at MMG Partners, and before that at Mitchell Madison Group.  Mr. Mahfood has advised leading financial services and technology firms in the areas of strategy, product development, pricing, competitive intelligence, IT, and operations, among others.  In addition, he previously worked as an investment banker in the technology corporate finance group at Deutsche Bank with a focus on enterprise software companies.  Mr. Mahfood holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and received two B.Sc. degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Economics and in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science.
